We had a LOT of fun at NACS this week. In addition to having a huge booth, complete with a near-perfect replica of a working petro pump (on the right) that showcased VeriFone’s VNET media front and center, we are also following it up with an excellent infographic on VeriFone’s global presence in the petroleum industry along with some key industry stats.
To put this together, we combed through a lot of data and selected the best for the infographic. But, we figured, “Why waste all that hard work,” so we decided to post some of the other interesting points here on the blog.

- Asia has the second largest automobile count with 78M.

Oil Production
- Central and South America – 7.8M barrels per/day
- Europe – 4.2M
- Asia and Oceania – 8.7M
