Jeff Wakefield is the Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives for VeriFone’s Vertical and Global Security businesses, responsible developing and implementing growth strategies, partnerships and acquisitions which will continue to expand VeriFone’s footprint in integrated payment systems.

Jeff has 30 years of retail systems experience and 20 years of payment industry experience as a senior executive for retail and payment systems companies. Jeff has served on the EFTA, the EBT Council and NACHA. He has spoken about payments and payment security at numerous industry events including NRF, NACS, RSPA, the PCI DSS Community Forum and the MasterCard Global Risk Management Conference. He currently serves as one of VeriFone’s representatives on the PCI SSC Board of Advisors.
