Principal Solutions Architect, Vertical & Global Security Solutions

Marc Massar is the Principal Solutions Architect for VeriFone’s Vertical and Global Security businesses, responsible for the strategic vision of VeriFone’s VeriShield products.

As a leader in technology and security management, Marc has been sought after and consulted by both Government and Industry groups for assistance with political policy, strategic roadmaps and product development. Previously at First Data Corporation, Marc’s insight into security management was instrumental as he developed the global encryption strategy, encompassing all aspects of data protection with encryption, while serving as the lead architect for the Global Encryption Program.

Marc is a member of community standards committees in the areas of payment security, encryption and key management and has been a vocal advocate for application integration to security services. Marc holds a degree from Occidental College, is a CISSP-ISSAP, and is also IAM certified by the NSA.
