Vice President & General Manager, Middle East and Africa

As Vice President & GM, Middle East and Africa, William Nettles is responsible for all strategic activities within the region including sales, marketing, support, acquisitions and strategic investments.

He previously served as head of corporate development and investor relations, responsible for all strategic activities of the company, including financings, acquisitions, investments and investor communications with the Wall Street investment community.

Prior to joining VeriFone, Mr. Nettles worked for Credit Suisse First Boston for five years in New York and London where he was a generalist investment banker, followed by four years at Terra Lycos, where he was responsible for corporate development, business development and investor relations.

Mr. Nettles attended the University of California at Berkeley and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on finance and marketing.
